11 березня в Центрі "Вікно в Америку" координатор Центру Катерина Скомаровська провела перше заняття в рамках проекту Media Literacy та ознайомила слухачів з Масовим відкритим онлайн-курсом «Англійська мова на допомогу медіаграмотності» (MООС), а також - з можливістю пройти навчання і тестування COURSERA з подальшим отриманням диплому пенсильванського університету (США). Програма здійснюється за підтримки Посольства США в Україні. 

Усіх зацікавлених просимо звертатися в Центр "Вікно в Америку" (ВОУНБ ім. К.А. Тімірязєва, вул. Соборна , 70 (філія)).

Today's Movie Club was a real pleasure for the lovers of high quality comedies. Miss Congeniality made everyone feel good and relaxed.

March, 4, this time the English Club was led by Matt M. and Sasha B. After the short introduction we talked about volunteering and volunteers, about their motivations and other things concerning the topic. At the end of the meeting we had a small presentation about rare animals and - a quizz to check our vocabulary.

The English Club had its continuation in the Game Club - it's a nice way of spending a day off, isn't it?

Yesterday, on the 1st of March, the National Women of Color Day was celebrated in the USA. That's why, today's English Club began with a presentation about this Day. Women are beautiful whichever color of skin they have, whatever nationality they belong to.
