Sister Cities

Editor-in-chief of Ria, the largest independent newspaper in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, Frovlov spent the week of November 11 in Birmingham amid a delegation of five young professionals visiting as part of the sister city relationship between the two cities. Coordinated by Birmingham Mayor William Bell’s office, the visit took place under the auspices of the Open World Leadership Center, a Washington, D.C.-based organization that has facilitated business, cultural and governmental exchange programs between professionals in the United States and post-Soviet nations since 1990.
