The last activity of the English Club was led by Fulbright Volunteer Lisle Kauffman. It was a discussion on Differences in Perspective between Ukrainians and Americans. The participants had a chance to discuss the following questions: how the Ukrainian view of health is the same and different than Americans; how the Ukrainian view of family is the same and different than Americans; what the differences and similiarities between Ukrainians and Americans thinking are regarding education, patriotism and religion; if there is a difference, what explains the public behavior of Ukrainians, what the historical "roots" of this behavior are, etc. The attendees discussed actively the following question: how American thinking has influenced or changed Ukrainian thinking; has Ukrainian thinking influenced or changed American thinking.
