Description: U.S. Embassy Lima invites you to take part in the next edition of the English language learning series designed for teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL). Join a live webchat focused on the cross-section between culture and language fluency.
Understanding the inter-connection between language and culture is essential in achieving language fluency. As English continues to evolve as an international language, there is a greater need for English learners to understand cultural subtleties. This webchat will present a framework to help teachers work with their students to develop sociocultural awareness. Kevin Hajovsky, Senior English Language Fellow in Ecuador, will join us live from the Galapagos Island.
