- "Introduction to Business English" starting January 29, 2014. The course, which is offered by the University of California, Irvine in conjunction with the U.S. State Department, will be conducted by U.S. Government exchange programs alum and take place at the Alumni Resource Center (20 Esplanadna Str., Kyiv).
If you are interested in improving your business communication skills, then don't hesitate to sign up for the course.

This course is designed to improve your international Business communication skills to further advance your career. Learn more about doing business in the U.S. as well as internationally. Students will study business concepts, business English, and enhance cross-cultural communication skills for business and professional settings.
Every week, there will be short clips of video lectures, discussions and vocabulary assignments. The course will be 5 weeks with the following topics: Cross-Cultural Business Practices, English for Marketing, English for Finance, English for the American Pitch and Corporate Culture and Leadership. You will watch the lectures on your own and then come to the Alumni Resource Center once a week for facilitated discussions that will be provided throughout the course. Those who have finished all these parts successfully and participated in our facilitated discussions will receive a certificate of participation.
