A Discussion on Christmas in Various Countries with Maryna B.

Among our volunteers there are those who have come abroad. But when coming back home even for a day, they take their chance and lead activities at English Club. Maryna B., a fresh student of one of Warsaw (Poland) universities, led this Club's activity on Christmas in Various Countries sharing her experience obtained in Poland.
We were lucky this time 'cause a lot of today's club's participants were in Poland and could tell about Christmas traditions, dishes and decorations in streets these days. We have never heard about so called "oplatky" and their meaning. This new attender (in a grey T-shirt) came from the state Oklahoma and told about his usual and unusual ways of Christmas celebration (it is a pity, but ' forgot his name).
A short but really informative presentation made a leader caught our attention for some minutes, especially when talking about these tasty Christmas dishes. It is really worth to wait for this family holiday and have surpirises from relatives, beloved and friends.
Have nice coming holiday time full of joy and surprises.
