The participants of this activity dedicated to Thanksgiving Day came
to the Center to share their ideas on these celebrations. PC Volunteers
Jacqueline S. and Tommy B. made a short presentation speaking more about
various traditions connected with this special for all Americans Day.
The special Thanksgiving dishes were decorations of this activity. Among
them there were a
peanut soup (made by PC Volunteer Michael A. D.) and a corn pie (baked
by Jacqueline S.). While opening a camera to make some pics, a hen
roasted by Anton Z. was eaten in a moment. But it WAS on this holiday
table.
The attendees spoke about gratitude and shared words of
thanks to whom they were thankful. The end of the holiday was really
unexpected for all of us. The 'Chicken Dance' was a schtick, a specialty of this activity.
