Description: Join Lee Rainie, Director of the Pew Research Center's Internet & American Life Project, who will discuss his Project's latest findings about how people use the internet, smartphones, and social media tools, and how those digital tools have affected their use of libraries. He will describe the Project's new research about the emergence of e-books and how tablet computers like iPads and e-book readers like the Kindle have affected people's book-reading habits. Learn about how libraries and publishers are determining the right way to provide these new materials to library patrons.
